Frequently Asked Questions
I currently run Sincerely, Shari alongside my full time, formal employment.
Therefore, turnaround times may vary! I work hard in the evenings and at the weekend, carefully painting and creating my designs.
Some orders that are pre-made such as greeting cards, can usually be sent within a few hours of purchase, however, personalised items such as invitations can take between 7-10 days.
Hand glittered cards are currently taking up to a week due to the high volume of orders I am receiving.
If you need your order urgently, please do let me know either via email or social media and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
If you change your mind and would like to return your order, you must notify me within 48 hours of receiving your order. The cost of the return will be the buyers responsibility and the return must be in the original condition it was sent.
Due to the bespoke nature of some of my products, returns and refunds will not be accepted on any personalised item. You have the ability to amend your order right up until the point of printing. Any changes you wish to make after your order has been sent to print, will unfortunately, not be possible.
If you have placed an order and would like to cancel, you are within your right to do so within 24 hours of purchase and a full refund will be offered.
Refunds will not be offered if you simply change your mind after your order has been dispatched.
You are entitled to return your order for a refund, however, it will be your responsibility to cover the shipping cost back to me.
Refunds are not eligible on any personalised item except for damage sustained whilst in transit or manufacturing defects. Damage to items or product defects must be flagged via email within 48 hours of delivery.

For best results, you can plant your card in the spring; March, April and May. Please note that germination can take up to 8 weeks!
You can expect to see flowers in May, June, July, August and September.
All of my greeting cards come with a full step-by-step instruction guide on how to plant your card.
If you have misplaced this, please follow the below guide.
Step 1: Tear your card in to small pieces where you can see seeds.
Step 2: Plant the card in a pot with soil, ensuring the pieces are covered.
Step 3: Water well making sure the pieces of card are nice and damp.
Step 4: Place your pot in a warm sunny spot but don't let it dry out.
Step 5: When you start to notice seedlings, repot or plant out!
Enjoy!
Yes! One of my big goals for Sincerely, Shari is to pledge to take individual action to help protect the environment. Within this pledge, I aim to remind all about the importance of greening their daily actions in order protect our planet.
Some things I am doing to help are, but are not limited to;
1. My cellophane bags keep your greeting cards safe from rainy days, however, they are made from Eco-Friendly Origins: The film distinguishes itself by being derived from renewable, sustainable organic resources. The film’s primary component, the PLA bio-based resin, is conscientiously sourced from corn, sugar beet, and potatoes! How clever is that! It’s imperative to remember that these bags should not be mixed with regular plastics. The ideal disposal method is with garden and food waste, ensuring its responsible return to the ecosystem.
2. The paper your cards are made from is recycled paper, embedded with individual plant seeds. This means they can be planted in soil and will decompose and grow beautiful flowers for you to enjoy!

When planting any seed, whether that be from a packet or seeded paper, there is always a chance that the seed(s) will not germinate.
There are many reasons the seed(s) may not germinate such as too much light, not enough light, too hot, too cold... the list is endless!
The purpose of my seeded greeting cards is to make a positive contribution to the environment and avoid cheap, store bought cards going into landfill. However, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again!
